CONTRACTOR Clough will provide a range of engineering services to Woodside Energy as part of a recently signed engineering services contract.
Clough will join an engineering panel to provide multidisciplinary engineering services for Woodside.
These include concept and feasibility studies, front-end engineering and design (FEED), engineering assessment and review, detailed engineering and production support across all of Woodside’s operated onshore and offshore producing assets.
Clough chief executive Peter Bennett said the contract reinforces the company’s capability to work across asset life-cycle while building upon its brownfields engineering credentials.
“Our brownfields engineering team will deliver fit-for-purpose engineering solutions that reduce capital expenditure and operational expenditure costs while increasing safety, productivity and schedule certainty.”
In addition Clough’s LNG consultancy, CH-IV won an owner’s engineer contract for Eagle LNG for their LNG production and export facility on Zoo Parkway in Jacksonville, Florida, USA.
CH·IV is responsible for the engineering to completion of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) application for the facility.
The Eagle LNG facility will consist of three LNG production units, with each unit able to produce up to 500,000 gallons/day.
The facility will include one LNG storage tank, a marine load-out facility and dock for small to mid-size LNG vessels – as well as bunker barges for domestic ship fuelling and an LNG truck-out facility.
