WELLDOG has secured roughly $16.5 million in contracts to install its aquifer monitoring and gas production optimisation downhole gauge systems at coal seam gas projects around Australia.

WellDog chief executive John Pope said the company had improved its manufacturing and field service procedures in order to increase installation success and optimise long term system performance, in response to the popularity of its products.

In addition to the CSG contracts awarded, WellDog has successfully completed its first ResMonitor installations for conventional oil and gas applications, monitoring downhole pressure and temperature in the Cooper basin.

Additional systems are scheduled to be installed in the coming months.
