WELL Control School announced the release of its supervisor-level IADC WellCAP accredited coiled tubing course through its e-learning program, System 21 e-Learning.

Accessible online, the course uses advanced instruction and workshops on pressure control methodologies in coiled tubing operations.

Designed for experienced coiled tubing supervisors, operators and assistant operators, the course uses instruction and workshops to train students based on the latest methodology and industry standards for well intervention in coiled tubing operations.

Well Control School president Ed Geissler said the course provided a cost-effective way to obtain critical training as many oil and gas companies seek to improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs.

“A key benefit of this course is that it’s web-based and available 24/7, so students can take the class at their convenience without incurring the travel time and expenses associated with attending classroom training,” he added.

Participants who successfully complete and pass the course will receive The Well Control School and IADC WellCAP coiled tubing supervisor level certifications along with 3.7 continuing education units, Mr Geissler said.
