TESTING has commenced at Transerv Energy’s Warro 6 well in Western Australia.

Operations at Warro 6 finished up in late January with the company announcing it had installed the testing and metering equipment and expected testing to begin in the following 48 hours.

Its completion rig was running 2 3/8 inch tubing at Warro 5, located in the Perth basin.

Earlier in the month, Transerv announced work at Warro 6 has been delayed as a result of a metal object accidentally dropped down the hole.

Four days were lost recovering the object and re-instating the well.

Gas flow testing at Warro 5 and Warro 6 is expected to continue through the first and second quarters of 2016, according to the company.

The Warro gas project is located 200 kilometres north of Perth.

Transerv holds 56 per cent interest in the Warro gas project with its partner Alcoa holding the remaining interest in the project.
