ENVIRONMENTAL and industrial service provider Toxfree has demonstrated its strength in Australia’s oil and gas industry to attendees at the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association Conference and Exhibition in 2014.
The company signed a contract worth about $17 million with Queensland-based Titan Energy Services which started in January 2014, providing waste collection and water services for drilling and camp activities at various locations in the Surat basin, Queensland.
It came after a five-year deal signed in August covering the management of waste from Chevron’s operational assets in Western Australia, including Barrow Island – a deal expected to bring in about $170 million and employ more than 100 people.
At the APPEA 2014 Conference and Exhibition, the Toxfree stand provided delegates with a range of information about its waste management, industrial and technical and environmental services.
Its waste management services include the provision of advice, supply and servicing of receptacles, collection and transport of all types of wastes from our customer’s sites to treatment or disposal facilities and the onsite treatment, transfer, remediation and recycling of waste materials.
Toxfree’s Industrial Services comprise a range of industrial cleaning and materials handling services which cater to the oil and gas industry, including high pressure water blasting, vacuum loading, industrial coatings, pipeline maintenance and confined space entry including tank cleaning.
The company’s Technical & Environmental Services business is the leading provider of resource recovery and complex waste services in Australia, handling hazardous waste management, contaminated site remediation and emergency response among others.
