SERVICES firm Sulzer has relocated to a larger workshop in Perth in a move it says will enable more efficient and leaner processes – enabling a shorter project turnaround.

The new base, which like the previous facility will be located in the suburb of Wangara, will be equipped to perform repairs and refurbishments for pumps and other rotating equipment such as gear boxes, electric motors, generators, steam and gas turbines.

Pump sales will be supported in the new premises by dedicated teams offering new pumps, spare parts, retrofits and project management.

The company’s general manager mechanical, Kevin Lane, said the expansion would help the service centre serve its customers faster.

“It will also enable us to maintain our presence as one of the leading service suppliers in WA in the future,” he said.
