SRJ Technologies has received the first purchase order from EnerMech Australia for its weld-free pipeline containment solutions.

Under the purchase order, SRJ will supply a range of innovative containment units designed to specification.

Supplied products will be manufactured locally with the assistance of WA- based partners SixDe and Impact Engineering.

SRJ CEO Alexander Wood said the purchase order and manufacturing operations had not been impacted by current COVID-19 lockdowns and border closures.

“The ability to provide containment solutions to the oil and gas sector remains an essential service, even in this unprecedented environment,” Mr Wood said.

“In fact, with some operators being impacted by restrictions on movement of people, the local manufacturing of SRJ solutions helps overcome some major hurdles.”

“When compared to traditional welded solutions, SRJ’s weld-free containment units can be installed with increased time and cost efficiencies, and without the need to shut down production.“

“Additionally, local manufacturing allows for rapid deployment of our products, ensuring repair and maintenance tasks can be carried out in a highly efficient manner.”

Mr Wood said SRJ had the capability of holding raw material stock on behalf of a range of clients to prevent any potential supply issues.

SRJ has appointed Morgans Corporate Limited to lead a proposed Initial Public Offering, scheduled for later this year but subject to an evaluation of market conditions.
