SPECIALISED engineering company SRJ Technologies has bolstered its governance capabilities with the appointment of two new board members.

Joining SRJ are Australian corporate compliance advisor Grant Mooney and Jersey-based digital and technology advisor Andrew Mitchell (left).

The appointments follow the establishment of a Perth office recently, boosting the company’s expertise with an already adept team of industry professionals including Business Development manager Dave Milner, Technical director Dr Paul Eastwood, and senior consultants Dave Capeling and Bill Skailes.

Mr Mooney is the principal of Perth-based corporate advisory firm Mooney & Partners, founded in 1999, which specialises in corporate compliance administration to public companies. He has extensive experience in the areas of corporate, financial and project management.

His experience also extends to advice on capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and safe harbour advice for directors seeking protection against insolvent trading.

A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, Mr Mooney currently serves as a Director of Gibb River Diamonds Limited, Barra Resources Limited, Talga Resources Limited, Riedel Resources Limited, Accelerate Resources Limited and Carnegie Clean Energy Limited.

Dr Mitchell is a non-executive director of Adams Plc, an AIM-listed investment company focused on special situation investment opportunities in the small to middle-market capitalisation sectors.

He is also the founding director of an innovative heart screening company and acts as an advisor to digital and technological health start-ups providing strategic advice and technical resource in the development of MedTech health services.

Dr Mitchell is also a Cardiologist and Chief Clinical Information Officer practicing at Jersey General Hospital, St Helier, Jersey, in the Channel Islands.

SRJ Technologies chairman Rob Pinchbeck says the developments are part of the broader corporate strategy driving towards significant growth in asset integrity and leak containment.

“We’re excited at the calibre of both appointments,” Mr Pinchbeck said.

“Mr Mooney’s and Dr Mitchell’s appointments increase the depth, breadth and diversity of experience within the group as we continue to build our Australian presence and bring technological enhancements to global markets.”

“SRJ is building strong consumer confidence, especially in the resource sector where our products and solutions are gaining recognition for their safety, quality and cost effectiveness compared to conventional solutions.”
