DUPONT has appointed Rod Nelson as head of DuPont Sustainable Solutions for Australia and New Zealand, moving the role to Perth as the company bids to capitalise on growth in Western Australia.
Mr Nelson brings over 15 years experience in mining and construction, which includes his previous position as KPMG’s Global Mining Lead of Projects.
He has experience both as a consultant and in engineering and operational roles, and also brings a number of existing relationships and networks with him.
Mr Nelson said he had been drawn to the company by its reputation in safety consulting and solutions.
“It’s a great time to join the business as we move into a new phase which will kick off with a campaign later this year to assist clients to ‘switch on’ their productivity and capital effectiveness,” he said.
President of the Asia Pacific arm of DuPont Sustainable Solutions Juan Aguiriano said the appointment would be key to company growth plans in the Australia/New Zealand region.
“The wealth of knowledge and calibre of talent Rod brings to DuPont is impressive to say the least,” he said.
