SHELL Todd Oil Services general manager Rob Jager is the new chairman of the Petroleum Exploration and Production Association of New Zealand, replacing former Todd Energy chief executive Paul Moore who is moving to the United States to head Todd Energy International.
Mr Jager, who is also chairman of Shell New Zealand, will remain based in New Plymouth.
Mr Jager is a current PEPANZ director and has more than thirty years of experience across Shell’s local and international exploration and production business.
Awarded the Deloitte Energy Executive of the Year 2013, Mr Jager is well known for his health and safety leadership and served as Chairman of the Independent Government Taskforce on Health and Safety.
Mr Moore will remain a Director with PEPANZ, the Association said.
