SOFTWARE company Bentley has made its offshore structure transport and installation modelling system Moses available on its subscriber-based Select licensing program.
A Bentley Select Open Access subscription gives users unrestricted portfolio-wide access to a variety of Bentley applications, often comprising the recommended mix of software for users’respective disciplines on a given project.
Bentley vice president of offshore Phil Christensen said the change would give Moses users can the added advantages that are available to Bentley Select subscribers, including the newly launched Select Open Access opt-in program,” he said.
“This advantage helps organisations of any size to maximize the value of their software investment while eliminating purchasing barriers to the most effective software utilisation so that all Bentley applications become Software at your Service.”
The Moses package was also set for two new releases in 2014, he said, the first of which included a new language editor and new hull and compartment modelling capabilities.
“A second release later in 2014 will provide further integration with Bentley’s SACS software for the analysis and design of offshore structures,” he said.
