NIDO Petroleum has confirmed the commencement of Michael Fischer, pictured, as managing director of the company.
Commenting on Dr Fischer’s commencement, Nido chairman William Bloking stated he was delighted to officially welcome Dr Fischer to the company.
“Mike will bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the role and we look forward to working with him in implementing our growth strategy.”
Mr Bloking’s role has now reverted to nonexecutive chairman. In addition, the company announced Krairit Nilkuha has been appointed as a non-executive director.
Mr Nilkuha has more than 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry across the private sector and government, both as a senior executive and as a non-executive director.
Nido said Mr Nilkuha is currently the chairman of the board of directors for the Technical Petroleum Training Institute of Thailand.
He was formerly a non-executive director of the Bangchak Petroleum Public Company and served as the chairman of Bangchak’s Risk Management Committee.
“It is with great pleasure that we welcome Mr Nilkuha to the board of Nido Petroleum Limited. Mr Nilkuha has had a very distinguished business career and will add significantly to the skill set and networks of the existing board members. We look forward to working with him,” Mr Bloking said.
