TALISMAN Malaysia has awarded KKB Engineering associate company OceanMight the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the wellhead platform at the Kinabalu Redevelopment Project.

It was one of three contracts awarded to the company for in recent months, which also included notification of tender award from Syarikat SESCO for the supply and delivery of steel products.

Sarawak Energy also released a letter of award for the supply, delivery, erection and commissioning of one unit of 1000 Tonne Fuel Storage tank inclusive of Pipings & Fittings for the Lawas Power Station.

KKB said these projects would be worth a combined 171.1 million ringgit, conditional on the approval of a field development plan by the relevant authority and completion of the detailed design engineering work, inclusive of provisional sums.

Work on the Kinabalu redevelopment project is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2017, while the work for SESCO is to be complete by the third quarter of 2016 and that of Sarawak Energy to wrap up within the first quarter of 2016.
