QUADRANT Energy has appointed Ian Purdy as the inaugural chief financial officer of the company, which acquired many of the Australian assets formerly owned by Apache Energy.
As a member of the senior leadership team and reporting directly to chief executive Brett Darley, he will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of Quadrant Energy.
He has over 20 years’ experience in finance, commercial and executive roles in the mining, minerals processing and engineering and contracting sectors.
Most recently Ian served as chief executive and managing director of Mirabela Nickel and has previously worked as chief financial officer for a range of companies.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
