BOLTED joint company Hydratight has opened a 12,000 square metre service, warehouse, engineering, training and office facility in the Perth suburb of Jandakot.

The new facility more than doubles the size of the company’s previous facility in Kewdale, providing what Hydratight commercial leader for Australia and New Zealand Doug Sangster said was a greatly expanded space for enhanced in-house service to customers and the launch of a range of new products and services.

“The expanded engineering, training, warehousing and service facilities will be especially important to us as we step up our in-house and in-situ service offerings to companies that increasingly are seeking out globally proven specialist services,” he said.

The company will offer in-situ machining services such as pipe cutting, beveling, milling, boring, grinding and end prepping, plus pre/post-weld heat treating, valve testing and leak sealing.

“We aim to deliver high integrity, compliance-assured services that ensure safety, environmental protection and avoidance of downtime,” Mr Sangster said.
