MONADELPHOUS will continue the operation and maintenance of construction facilities at Chevron’s Gorgon project after being awarded a $200 million contract extension.

Renewal of the contract ensured the ongoing employment of more than 200 people, company managing director Rob Velletri said.

“This contract extension demonstrates our capability to provide a wide range of multidisciplinary maintenance and construction services and underlines the importance we place on long-term delivery to our customers.”

Having first secured the contract in 2009, the organisation is responsible for the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants, power generation and distribution systems, as well as the management and maintenance of various buildings, vehicles, plant and equipment.
