EMERSON Process Management has released a new power module for the ROC800 and ROC800L RTU Flow computers.

The AIM-listed company announced it had enThe PM-30 offers increased power delivery and the flexibility to install the ROC800 in either 12 volt solar installations or 24 volt rack mounted installations without needing to change the power module.

Emerson said the PM-30 power module for the ROC800 series flow computer also offers increased power delivery and eliminates the need to change power modules when switching from a 12 vdc power source to a 24 vdc power source.

The additional power enables users to expand the I/O in the ROC800 without concern regarding power consumption. The new module also offers improved monitoring with LEDs indicating the status of the 12vdc and 3.3vdc on the back plane.

“The ROC800 series flow computers are ideal for a variety of applications for a wide-range of liquid hydrocarbons including crude, refined products, special application products, lubricating oils and light hydrocarbons,” Emerson said.
