CNOOC Limited has successfully brought the announced Enping 18-1 oilfield on stream.
Located in the Pearl River Mouth Basin of the South China Sea, the Enping 18-1 oilfield is operating in an average water depth of approximately 90m.
Three wells currently producing approximately 2010 barrels of crude oil per day. The project is expected to reach its ODP designed peak production of approximately 11,800 barrels of crude oil per day within the year.
Utilising the existing Enping 24-2 oilfield facilities, the project is part of a regional joint development that includes the Enping 23-1, Enping 23-2 and Enping 23-7 oilfields.
CNOOC holds 100% interest and acts as the operator of Enping 18-1.
