STRIKE Energy has announced some changes to its management team, effective 1 July, 2014.
The changes complement the previously announced board changes which came into effect at the end of June.
Chris Thompson, currently general manager, Cooper basin, has been appointed to an expanded role as the company’s chief operating officer.
Mr Thomson will be responsible for the company’s portfolio of exploration, evaluation and development activities with a primary focus on the Southern Cooper basin gas project.
In addition David Baker, currently a non‐executive director, will assume the role of executive director – commercial.
In his new role, Mr Baker will be responsible for commercial initiatives required to progress the development of the Southern Cooper basin gas project.
“The appointment of Chris and David to their new roles together with the previously announced board changes gives the company a high quality, experienced leadership team focussed on the rapid development and commercialisation of the company’s assets,” Strike chairman Mark Carnegie said.
