WESTERN Australian vessels group Bhagwan Marine has launched a subsea division for work across its range of 170 vessels.
The new team will conduct commercial diving, offshore inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) services, class surveys, spool installation and tie-ins, in water surveys and underwater inspections in lieu of dry-docking.
Bhagwan Marine managing director Loui Kannikoski said it was a big decision.
“(But it is) one that we believe will set us apart from our competitors and provide huge benefits to our clients in the form of efficiencies and savings,” he said.
“We wouldn’t have gone into this unless we felt we had the right people to become industry leaders in this field.”
“However, the experience of the team we have assembled is second to none, so I’m sure we will be extremely competitive in the Subsea industry in the near future,” he said.
These services will be offered across Bhagwan’s operational bases in Perth, Geraldton, Exmouth and Dampier, Darwin, Gladstone, Hay Point and Brisbane.
