SANTOS has announced the retirement of chief financial officer Andrew Seaton.

Mr Seaton will leave the company by the end of 2016 following more tan 11 years of service, including the last six as CFO.

Santos has commenced an executive search to identify a successor to Mr Seaton.

Santos’ managing cirector and CEO, Kevin Gallagher, said Mr Seaton was a key member of the executive team.

“Andrew has worked diligently to deliver on the company’s strategy and I would like to recognise his strong contribution over many years.

“His knowledge and insights over the last few months have been invaluable for the transition of Santos to a new operating model, and I thank him for his integrity, enthusiasm and commitment during this time.

“I look forward to continuing to work closely with Andrew over coming months, and wish him well for the next phase of his career,” Mr Gallagher said.
