WGC2022 Exhibitor Briefing in Daegu

Apr 6, 2022

On Wednesday 6 April, the WGC2022 National Organizing Committee and conference and exhibition organizers gathered to welcome key stakeholders to the EXCO Convention Center in Daegu. The briefing provided attendees with an update on all aspects of the event as they start to plan ahead for their participation at the 28th World Gas Conference next month.

The organizers provided attendees with a briefing presentation to set out the latest news and information on the conference program, exhibition (including the launch of the exhibitor manual), hotels and transportation. A guided tour of the venue was then provided to show attendees the layout of how the event will look and included an outline of all the branding and sponsorship opportunities available in the building.

With travel restrictions eased and quarantine no longer required, we were delighted with the great turnout of international and local companies and to see so many big names in attendance such as KOGAS, SK, ExxonMobil, BP, Cheniere, Tellurian, Uniper, Oman LNG and KNOC.

‘It was great to be able to travel to South Korea again. With the travel guidelines provided the process was smooth; the PCR testing at Incheon Airport was fast and efficient and the results of our test were received on our train travel to Daegu’ said Lisa Shelton, MD of CWC Event Solutions (event organizers of WGC2022).

We are pleased that in less than 6 weeks, the WGC2022 will open its doors. We look forward to welcoming you to the EXCO Convention Center for the largest face-to-face gas and energy industry conference.
